Cole's Birthday Lego

Cole turned 6 years old on October 15th and got a set from the Lego Movie.

Lego Biathlon

Leave it to Rylan to think of creating a Lego biathlon course.  Rylan loves the winter Olympics and he was fascinated with the biathlon.  The fact that you get to shoot and ski at the same time is really cool.   I thought it was funny that the competitors were Emmett, Bad Cop, a storm trooper and some other Lego characters.  In the audience cheering them on, is another storm trooper, a Ninja Turtle and even a Bionicle.

Rylan's Space Ship

Rylan made this tiny lego spaceship the other day, and really wanted to post it to the lego blog.  It's pretty nifty, I think that it is made from Lego Star Wars pieces.

Temples out of Lego

Last summer when we visited Grandma and Grandpa in Vancouver.  Grandma Jane had the great idea of gathering all the white lego she could find so that the kids could make Lego temples.  Here are the temples that Nathan made during our stay (maybe with a little help from mom and grandma).

So it's been quite awhile since we posted anything on our Lego blog even though a lot of Lego creations have been made in the past 2 years.  The biggest reason for our hiatus is the fact that our family moved to Barcelona Spain in August 2013.  There was a lot of things to learn, new school, new language, new friends and neighbours.  Now I think that it's time to update our blog.

For the past couple of years, Nathan has been creating his own stop motion videos.  Here is the very first one he made with his friend Joseph, way back in April 2012
